Seasons and trends always change but what remains eternal are vintage clothing. Looking back is something that designers do usually travel in time and remember the best of fashion from decades past. Some seasons are given by the 20's and flappers, others by 50 and New Look silhouette, and this fall-winter 2011/2012, these three decades were the most inspirational to today's fashion designers: the 40s, 60s and 70s.So look the catwalks of the fall winter collection and be seduced by your favorite decade.

The 40s Inspired

The interwar period is a period of austerity, shortages, ration cards, but also of classic elegance and aspiration to the glamor of the golden age of Hollywood.

The collection that best reflects the fashion of the decade of the 40'swhich has been designed by Miucca,Prada ,Miu Miu: knee length dresses and shoulder pads marked by discrete patterns were the trends of that era.Even the pompadour hairstyle is faithful to the period. The "well dressed", the perfect set and impeccable go from head to toe. This tendency can make us look much older ladies, including actress image Miu Miu campaignHailee Steinfeld, just 15 years and looks like a grown woman in the photographs, so this trend may not work for everyone.
The 60s Inspired

If you fancy something more lively and colorful, go for the 60s look.Evas-line dressestops, coats matching dresses, pastel, cardigans, turtleneck sweaters and boots to the knee, take us to one of the most successful decades in terms of style and inspirational designs.

Seen in Prada, ValentinoBottega Veneta , the trends of shoulder pads and colourful printed shapes was a successful trned back then. and it's coming back.

The 70s Inspired
The decade of the 70s seasons prowling bears our closets, so once again, that is welcome. Put a little bohemian charm, much of the spirit of the 70s revolves around glam, fur and extravagance.

So which decade are you gonna go back to?
